Prevention of Crimes by Securus Technologies
Securus Technologies is a company that deals with the provision of justice technology solutions in both criminal and civil cases for public safety, corrections, monitoring, and investigations. Customers who have always experienced their services gave out their point of view about the services provided. Taking a look at the comments most of which were given by officials who worked in jails, prisons and, correction agencies, I found out that they were satisfied with the services because they found pieces of evidence that were required to help solve most of the inmate’s cases.
For Securus Technologies to be able to provide the best services, they are always forced to create a new service or product each week for correction and prison officials to prevent and solve any crimes. Through this, most innocent people on specific criminal cases have been set free, planned crimes have been avoided, and evidence against criminals have been found. Also, officials have been able to find it easy to get information without having to strain themselves by following on the issues.
Securus Technologies have nine acquisitions whereby Jpay Inc. is one of them. On April 14th, 2015, they had signed a definitive stock Agreement with JPay which is the leading firm in technology. Smith, the CEO of Securus Technologies, believed that working together with JPay would enable them to expand and be able to provide the required services and products for correctional facilities. Some of the products JPay delivers are entertainment apps, educational apps, electronic payments and others which fit in the penitentiary space. Their technology has been able to expand thus more people have received assistance, most crimes have been prevented, and a better environment has been created in prison.
