This project inspired a third organization, Dental Sleep Masters, where he trains dentist on how to correct sleep disorders using common oral devices.


When he is not running his own organization, Avi is contributing to other not for profit establishments helping people globally. One of these organizations is Operation Smile which he opened a Go Fund Me campaign for. Operation Smile was formed to provide free surgery to children with cleft lips and other facial deformities.


Avi is always looking for more ways to help the masses, another of which is blogging about sleep apnea. He holds a personal blog and a Tumblr page where he frequently posts articles on proper Dental hygiene, as well as creating awareness on sleep conditions like apnea.

Squaw Valley Demands That The Water Quality Is Improved

The upper mountains of Squaw Valley have tested positive for E. coli and coliform bacteria in their potable water. The tests were done in November of this year by Place County’s Department of Health. The water has improved and there is very little bacteria now than there was before.

So far there have no incidents of of sickness reported in the area. Still, residents are advised not to drink the tap water and to consume bottle water and prepackaged foods. Skiing in the region is still allowed and considered to be safe.

Three out of the four wells that services the area had low levels of coliform and nonexistent levels of E. coli. When water is tested positive for coliform but no E. coli, then it is legally deemed safe for the use of restrooms and washing. This is currently the state of the water in the upper mountain region.

Snowy areas are usually not a concern for the formation of E. coli. The freezing cold of the ice and snow easily kills the bacteria. The bacteria tends to thrive inside the warm bodies of mammals. The scare of E. coli in the water is a low chance, but they are taking measure to ensure safety.

Officials are working to clean the water with chlorine and sodium hydrochloride. The are flushing and rinsing the water using chlorine and adding injections of sodium hydrochloride for additional safety.

Excessive rainfall damaged the water systems in Squaw Valley in October and upgrades had to be made. During the upgrades to the system, they faced 9.5 inches of rain within a 3 day period that left them vulnerable. The excessive downpour had contaminated the water system during the summer. They have been taking steps to ensure that the water systems will be free from dangerous bacteria. Contaminated water was never available to the public during that time.

When the issue was detected within their system, they immediate informed the Placer County Environmental Health and the Squaw Valley Public Service District. They also consulted with private contractors to assess the safety of the drinking water. They will continue to work with county officials until the water is safe to drink again.

The officials of Squaw Valley they the contamination issue very seriously and plan on making clean water available to visitors of the region once again. They are providing free access to their facilities and free bottled water to people in High Camp and Gold Coast areas.

New Zealand, First and Foremost is Simply Not a Tax Haven:


There is a list of tax havens, maintained by the OECD. New Zealand has never been on the list. In fact, it is not at all likely that New Zealand will be included. The main traits, associative of tax havens are that they impose no taxes, that there is transparency—lacking, and laws keep information, as to exchanges with other governments, non-disclosed. New Zealand does not have any of the preceding features, in order to carry out the true definition of a tax haven. New Zealand, too, does not have a private banking industry—that is highly secret.


When One Needs to Refer to Transparency the Model Agreement on Exchange of Information is the 2002 OECD Model Agreement:
